Hyperon energy flows in abundance throughout the Hub Sector. Forming a sector-wide power grid, the Hyperchannels carry the energy across great distances from the Hyperon Energy Plants. Almost all of the technology used in the Hub Sector was left behind by The Zell, including the Hyperchannel network.

Unfortunately, few exist outside of The Brotherhood of The Zell that understand the technology. The Brotherhood holds a monopoly on all knowledge related to The Zell. Some have spoken out against The Brotherhood's secretive ways, but the majority of the sector simply accepted and eventually trusted that The Brotherhood served the best interests of the people.
